Falling in love can be fast and furious. The beautiful thing about love is that you just need to plant it once and nurture it and it shall bloom into blossoms that would cover the valleys.

Barely 4 months down since Rosie and Kachi were pronounced winners of the maiden edition of the Ultimate Love reality show, the couple is still building and nurturing their relationship.
The couple was recently featured in Vanguard’s Allure Magazine, and they talked about post house experience and what they have been up to since the show ended.

Rosie detailed her last romantic experience which lasted for 12 years, saying she has learned from the mistakes of her past.

“I think when you’ve had an experience like the one I had, you kind of learn from the mistakes and try to see that they are not repeated in your future relationships. I think that’s what growth is really about. Treating your experiences when things don’t work out as you planned as lessons instead of failures. I’m applying the lessons I learned from my past relationship with this one and also doing some unlearning. It’s all a process and a journey. Thankfully, I’m going through all of it with the best guy.”

She also talked of her initial uneasiness having to date and start a relationship with someone on national TV.

“I’m not going to lie, the whole idea of having strangers so invested in your life was really scary, and having to go through the ups and downs of a relationship on TV with the whole continent watching isn’t exactly the easiest thing in the world. But I had to remind myself that I was in the show for a reason, and I kept my eye on the goal.”

Kachi on his end said he wasn’t predisposed to dating older women but after spending time with Rosie and building conversations, he had a change of mind.

“Dating older women has never been my thing but after the first week of bonding in the Love Pad coupled with intelligent conversations we had, and different lectures we had, the whole narrative changed and my perception of dating older women changed. I got to realize that age is nothing but numbers. There and then I made up my mind not to sacrifice my happiness on the altar of “age”. I love Rosie so much, that’s what matters.”

As part of their package from the show, the couple is supposed to get married in an all-expense paid traditional wedding. They have also revealed they would be getting married soon.

The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard but must be felt with the heart.
We hope and pray that their love will continue to wax stronger.
