Whenever any great song or album gets delayed, someone is deprived of the joy of hearing it, and the great effort of those who created and recorded the work is damaged.
Fans of Adele have been looking forward to her new album since she announced that she will be releasing an album this September but sadly it looks like Adele’s first album since 2015 is no longer going to be out in September.
The “Hello” hitmaker took to Instagram on Saturday where she confirmed her fourth album is delayed because she’s quarantining amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The singer’s manager; Jonathan Dickins, has said there will be a setback on the album release date- in fact, there has been no specific date. He reveals that the album delay is caused by the ongoing pandemic.
“It isn’t coming in September, it’ll be ready when it’s ready.
“We’re all in the same boat, you’re doing stuff and then all of a sudden, the world stops. It’ll come when it’s ready. I can’t put a date on that yet. We have music, but we’re still working.” Her manager said.
The good news about it someone working with her has said her music “sounds better than ever”.
Several musicians have had to delay or scrap the release dates of much-anticipated albums during the global health crisis, including Lady Gaga, Sam Smith.
We all know music isn’t just a tune, it touches the soul, we will wait for the release of your album, Adele!
