Help! Blind Students Ask for Financial Assistance After Losing Food Items And Properties

No one should go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back. We are not put on this earth for ourselves but are placed here for each other. If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.

Students of Bethesda Home for the Blind seek donations after a heavy downpour flooded their vicinity and damaged their food items and property.

Bethesda Home for the Blind is a non-profit sponsor-supported full boarding home/school for visually impaired persons.

The season is here and a heavy downpour in Lagos on Sunday, June 28, caused their premises to be flooded. The floodwater entered their hostels, displacing 20 of the students. The floodwater also entered their kitchen and storeroom, damaging their food items. Since the incident happened, the school authorities have found it hard to feed the students. They are seeking financial assistance.

Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back.
